Unity In Motion is a continuous form of movement comprised of smaller individual movements that fit together seamlessly into one flowing whole. When I first started practicing the form, learning it movement by movement, it seemed as though it was comprised of big or important movements held together by smaller, connecting movements. One day while practicing the whole form it occurred to me that there were no smaller, less important movements. They are all equally important as part of the whole flow. It has recently further occurred to me that life could be looked at in this way. It occurred to me that most of us focus on big happenings in our lives with other things sandwiched in between. What if I could see each moment of my life as equally important - interconnected as one continuous flow of movement?
